Machines are actually pretty cool, they do just about anything and everything. This machine is actually a huge welding machine that uses friction to weld Excavator Track Rollers. The whole process takes about 30 seconds or so which is actually way faster than normal welding. Also, because of the type of machine and the friction, it’s actually cheaper and more efficient.
I’m not exactly sure as to how strong the weld is or how long they last, but I think since they effectively melt two metals together the weld might be very durable. Any ideas?
OH and just in case you were wondering, according to, michaelfallorin , the guy who uploaded the video, he works about 12 hours a day and makes $53 dollars. That’s including over time, and he gets a whole bunch of burns from the sparks etc.
