How To Lose Weight Eating Junk Food – Eating Twinkies Makes You Skinny!

I have an addiction to Twinkies, and that’s not an exaggeration. Any of my friends can tell you that I can go through a box of Twinkies a day if I had the chance. after people find out that I can eat so many Twinkies, their first thought is, Why aren’t you fat? Well, it turns out that in weight loss diets, pure calorie counting is what matters most, not the nutritional value of the food. This means you can eat all the junk food you want, as long as you take vitamins, you can actually be somewhat healthy.

Mark Haub, is a professor of human nutrition at Kansas State University. He wanted to prove that to his students and his colleagues that he could lose weight by eating unhealthy. For 10 weeks, he ate a Twinkie every  three hours. He also ate Little Debbie snacks, Doritos chips, sugary cereals, Oreos, and Sugary drinks.

Haub was eating about 1,800 calories a day. A man of Haub’s size needs to consume about 2,600 calories daily. So he followed the basic principle of weight loss… consume less than what you burn. After the 10 weeks in this diet, His body mass index went from 28.8 to 24.9. Surprisingly, his health increased as well, Haub’s “bad” cholesterol, or LDL, dropped 20 percent and his “good” cholesterol, or HDL, increased by 20 percent. He also reduced the level of triglycerides (a form of fat), by 39 percent.

You want to get in on this diet? Well…Even though the diet worked amazingly in Haub’s case, he does not recommend replicating his snack diet. Haub told CNN, “I’m not geared to say this is a good thing to do, I’m stuck in the middle. I guess that’s the frustrating part. I can’t give a concrete answer. There’s not enough information to do that.” Haub’s diet consisted of two-thirds junk food, a multivitamin pill, and a protein shake. He ate a couple of vegetables, like green beans, and celery stalks to get him through the day. So there you go, next time you want to go out on a vacation, eat your twinkie way to your summer body! below is the daily diet routine you need to follow.
