The robots above are part of a project called the Swarmanoid it’s composed of a group of robots that all work together to perform basic actions. The project is a Future and Emerging Technologies (FET-OPEN) project funded by the European Commission. The robots in the swarm include robots specialized in manipulating objects and climbing, robots good at moving on the ground and transporting objects and robots specialized in flying and observing objects from above. They hope that in the future they will be able to have robots that enter into dangerous buildings or dangerous situations.
