So, as some of ya’ll may already know (Specially if you live in Los Angeles) on Saturday, July 16th, the 405 Freeway in Los Angels will be shutting down, meaning that there will be a WHOLE BUNCH of people stuck due to high traffic and traffic jams etc. So much in fact that people are calling it the CARMAGEDON of Los Angeles… Then, we heard about the great news that JetBlue would offer to fly you around the Los Angeles area for only $4… about 2 hours later… the tickets were sold out.
Okay, so this was more of a publicity stunt really, but it got the attention they wanted. It was shared over 14,000 times on facebook and twitter etc. honestly speaking, this is a horrible idea for the passengers, even if I did buy the ticket, what am I going to do when I’m out of the airport? rent a taxi? IF they are available, and then be stuck in traffic because the highway is closed?
